Choosing the right material to produce the desired effect is important. When time is an issue or the material is unvavailable, then I print the texture required.
I received a compliment from Diane von Furstenburg for this graphic. The main credit goes to the store's Visusal Display Manager who came up with the idea.
What happens when the budget does not allow for dummy speakers to be used? Why recreate them graphically of course!
Simple job where we were asked to produce concentric rings. The Display Manager wanted to embellish her idea for the use of vinyl records.
The installation, which I was involved with, and the lining up of this text pattern created a nice effect in this board room.

This and the following fashion displays were all illustrated by me. The description of what was needed was provided by the Visual Display Manager. Working together, I used a table w/pen and and drew these. Time was tight so each of these were produced to life size within hours of approval.

I have also worked with talented freelance display artists where together, we recreated a LAMB backdrop (and table tops) for Gwen Stefani's brand. Last minute changes included hand cutting out the slots for the 2 TV screens which were added an hour before the event took place.

An earlier project of mine. The source images were cropped photos from an existing brochure. Scanning and scaling it up and finding the best spot for placement, were all considerations before production.
